Gluten Free Options?

Hello, I’m a high school senior considering applying to Stanford University. Before I apply, I would like to know if they would properly accommodate my gluten free dietary needs. On their website they show many gluten free options, but there is a disclaimer. I have Celiac Disease so gluten free food is a necessity for me. Would anyone happen to know what gluten free options there are and if they are safe?

They have gluten free options and they are safe.

Thanks! Do you know anyone with Celiac that regularly eats it and does not get sick? If there are student employees, are they highly trained in gluten free needs?

Yes, they are competent. You’re not going to find better so lets wait and see how that application goes before you start reviewing the training manuals.

Yes, it is a difficult school to be admitted to, but this was a deciding factor on if I apply.

So, it’s between University of Tennessee and Stanford?

No, I’m looking at a few others. I’ve just decided to definitely apply to UT and Stanford. I live in Tennessee and my admissions counselor said I’m highly competitive for a full scholarship at UT. Stanford would be a reach, but I’m working to get my stats up to standards. The past 3 years, I’ve had major health concerns(many related to Celiac) that impacted my attendance, grades, extracurricular activities, ability to study, everything.
