I'm a science major at an HYPS school and I'm applying to 2+2. I took the GMAT with no time to prepare and got a 710, but did horribly on the quant (45)...not sure how I managed to do that and ace the verbal, if anything I would've expected the opposite. 2 questions:

Is this good enough, combined with a 3.5+ GPA, to be stat-worthy of 2+2?

Should I consider either re-taking for a 750+ (with strong improvements in math)or trying the GRE instead (provided I can get a composite score in the 330 range, according to the new formulas) before the final round of apps? Or should I get a re-take it for the current round (round 2) to increase my chances of admission (since the rest of the app is set)?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
