Harvard 2+2 Preparations?

Hi there!

I'm currently a freshmen at the UCDavis double majoring in Computer Science & Engineering and Economics. I've been looking into many different options for a business school, as I do plan on incorporating my Engineering Major into Business in the future. After seeing and hearing word about the HBS 2+2 program, I wanted to hear from you guys about what I should be doing to prepare myself for the application. Are there any suggested internships or programs and extracurricular activities I should involve myself with? I'm hoping to end my junior year with somewhere between a 3.6-3.8 GPA. Would this suffice to the acceptance rates? Will my economics double major hurt my chances of admission? Should I start studying for my GMATs? Any help and advice would be extremely helpful. Thank you so much in advance!

Get incredible grades in computer science and ace the GMAT and you’ll have a good shot. But keep in mind the odds of getting into the Harvard 2+2 program are… frankly, awful, no matter who you are.

The better way is the harrowing but character-building process of getting great grades through all four years of college, finding a good job during a terrible recession, performing well at that job, and finally applying to the MBA program. Hard work is how the unlucky get lucky.

^ Arent HBS 2+2 rates higher than normal mba admissions?

Is 3.75 an incredible GPA?

by acing the GMAT you mean like 730 ish right - when should we start studying for the GMAT?
