GMAT-When to start prepping?

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I am currently a Junior and will be graduating next year. I have worked in the insurance industry for the past 3 years, full time, while I finish school (also full time). So, I do have some work experience. I would like to go straight from undergrad to grad studies the following fall semester. If that is possible, when would the best time to take the GMAT be? I've already read on required prep-time but due to my schedule time is a little tight. Any suggestions would be great!</p>

<p>I’d suggest doing it over winter vacation, between the fall and spring semesters. That’s what I did and it worked out great. Required prep time will be different for everyone, what’s your schedule like?</p>
