When going into college and choosing a major/path of study is it better to choose what you love or what will make the most sense? I have a passion for law and know that I would be happy in a career as a lawyer despite the pressures of the job, but I know that many people who are graduating from law school are unemployed. I don’t want to set myself up for a life without work, but at the same time I don’t want to end up in a job that I hate. I am not a STEM person and most of the “up-and-coming” jobs are STEM-related, so that really narrows my prospects.
I am not in college yet but I would like to know if I am wasting my time pursuing a law career.
