I was wondering if anyone had any goals after college that they'd want to accomplish? i.e. going/applying to graduate school, working, volunteering, etc.

My current goal is to get a decent job to off-start my career. However, I've been thinking about graduate school a lot lately.

I want to go to graduate school, definitely to get a Master’s in Music, and maybe even a Doctorate in music, if I could get into one of those programs. Then, I’ll look for a good job after that; probably some work while in grad school though, to help pay for it.

Grad school probably, but the more I think about it, the more I don’t know if I really see myself as a History professor.
I have no clue what I’ll do if I don’t end up going. Teach English abroad maybe.

So I take it you’re a history major now?

I want to either be a doctor or get a Ph.D in biology or do business.

i will most likely go to law school after college(always wanted to be a lawyer)

I would really like to work at a national laboratory, which isn’t so far-fetched because there is a national energy technology laboratory in the town where my college is. Or maybe I’d like to work at a research university. That would be cool. At some point I plan on getting at least a masters, hopefully even a PhD.

I would like to get an MD/PhD after college. I love research but medicine is my true passion, and the combination of degrees makes you so qualified in other peoples’ eyes, and hopefully your own as well.

Graduate school or starting half of my career.

I plan on going to Graduate school to get a Masters of Art in Teaching. Then I want to get a job teaching at a high school.

Working in Japan as an entertainer or a job in finance(Math/Japanese major)

Definitely going to grad school for a Ph. D in astrophysics. God knows how long that’ll take. I’d love to get a good paying job in Cambridge…(massachusetts). That’d be wonderful.

Grad school, PHD, A lot of research, perhaps find a wife, get tenure and more research.

In the scope of it all: understand and speak the language of God.

I will probably go to work.

Community organizing with the poor.

Men are as gnats, grasping at an inconceivably vast and complex universe. Our advancement, which seems so great to us in our narrow perspective, has yet to scratch the surface of existence. The cold cosmic emptiness yawns before us, as unbridgeable and terrible as at Man’s dawn. So while science is an important pursuit, remember to stay humble.

I want to go to law school and get a joint JD and MA in Bioethics. I want to do something in health law.

I’m sure I’ll also continue running the sports nonprofits that I currently run and maybe open a few more nonprofits in some area of public health.

I’m doing History and Economics. Not sure if I’ll double major or minor in Economics, but it’s definitely there.

Dolorous: that is why I want to learn. It is that itch that never goes away until I learn. Of course, I will die unable to reach the goal. It is that pursuit that pleases me. Success is not a destination; it is a journey.

I mean all men sought for the things that they can’t have. It is human nature; that is how science got started in the first place.
