My English teacher this past year, which happened to be the all-important junior year, decided to really dislike me. I'm not kidding or being paranoid here, my friend and I proved it. See, this teacher gave me consistant 80's (and below) and my friend consistant 100's. For one assignment, we swapped essays, and we still got the same grades.

I hate how subjective essay grading can be.

I had the worst English teacher last year. He may actually be in the running for one of the worst teachers I've ever had. I have absolutely no respect for him at all, and since he's a possible teacher for AP US (which I'm taking), I had my mom call the school and request being placed in the other class.

I really do love English though. It's just difficult to teach, and you need the right teacher.

I've always dislike english. This is partly because I am one of those math/science oriented students who's more concernted with Fermat's theorem instead of what happened with holden and the prostitute in "The catcher in the rye". However, I now realize that english is quite a useful class and it can be quite fun depending on you teacher. I hate those students who are masters at the skill of writing. Natural talents I tell ya'.
