Is goddard a popular dorm? I know its smaller, and its my fave cuz of the location and Starbucks down below. Would I have a good chance of getting goddard if i appiead RD and put it down as my first choice?

All of Godard is devoted to Explorations, which means if you have apply to a particular themed floor to get it. Therefore if you're applying to a pretty popular floor like "All the World's a Stage" you'll have to really prove you are interested in the theme and not just the building.

p.s coffeeaddict-- if you're a true coffee addict/connosieur you'll soon find all other local coffeeshops put Starbucks to shame

anyone else know? i would apply for the writing explorations floor if that helps...

hasn't the housing deadline passed already?

i'm just wondering for next year...if i have a good chance at goddard b/c i really like it....just another question to get out of the way before college admissions comes around...

errr... isn't it bad luck to choose your dorm before you are offered admission at a school?

lol. I haven't chosen it like I'm for sure gonna go there. Its a frontrunner though...just looking ahead a little. I also like Rubin and a couple others... I was just wondering how popular it was b/c I've heard that Hayden is the hardest to get and wanted to know about Goddard b/c of its great location in WSP

Getting ahead of yourself there. Where you're going to live at where you're potentially going to go in a year, is probably the last thing you should be concerned with right now

I know, I'm not losing sleep over it or anything...I was just talking to my friend who also is very interested in NYU and we were talking about how fun it would be to room together and what dorms we liked...i was just curious and so was she..thanks though! we can let this thread die now...lol

doesn't hurt to dream and be hopeful.....

so I got into NYU(!!!) and I thought I’d bump my old thread from back when I was still dreaming about getting into NYU. Anyone know how easy it would be to get into Goddard if it is my first choice and I can show a lot of interest in the writing explorations? Thanks!
