I plan to rush in the fall. I have already applied for housing. According to the housing website, if i move into my room and then decide to be a live-in it will cost $9 a day till the end of the academic year because I have broke contract. Is there a way to get out of this? I can simply not move in and be stranded until I get a bid (hopefully). Or do freshman not even live in the house? If someone could clarify these things that would be great.

Freshmen typically don’t live in their respective houses. Most freshmen who rush will live in the residence halls their first year and then will move into their Greek houses.
