<p>He'll have to write and send up a SSS with a Form 99 attached. A Staff Summary Sheet (universally referred to as a "triple s") is a document explaining what he wants and why he should get it, and is sent up his chain of command through his AOC. The Form 99 is a request to exceed the 150-mile radius that we usually have to stay inside. He can leave whenever the SSS specifies, but he likely won't be allowed to miss any required duties, to include class.</p>
