Going into Pre-Med as a History Major?

Hi, I'm new to the website. I'm a sophomore in college, and a History major. I'd love to become a doctor, so I'm strongly considering going Pre-Med? But how do I go about doing so as a History major? I know there are prereqs, letters of recommendations, ec's, etc. Could anyone please give me some advice on how to go about doing this, and what subjects should I start brushing up on before I make this leap?
All help is greatly appreciated! :)

There are two threads that are stickied to the top of the page of this section. One is called FAQs, the other is called general pre-med advice. I suggest you read those as well as contact your school’s health career office (or pre-med advising office or whatever they call it there)

I volunteer at a large hospital , and one of the doctors who interview candidates for the program said to me that they really like to see diverse majors . Just get those required courses in !
