Going to Purchase College SUNY from Edinburgh University

<p>So I've been accepted to study abroad at Purchase college, SUNY next semester (I'm just finishing my 2nd year at the University of Edinburgh) - does anyone go to Purchase? Or know anyone who does?</p>

<p>I'd really like to hear more about it, especially where would be best for me to live on campus. I'm 21 and will be a 3rd year (Junior? is that right) - should I go for halls or apartments? What's sharing a room like (we don't do that here)? What's the campus/surrounding area like? How easy is it to get to NYC?</p>

<p>Also, if anyone is coming here to Edinburgh for their semester abroad, feel free to ask me anything about it.</p>

<p>I dont know much about Purchase, but ive visted the campus before. Its a relativley small campus in a quiet area(although there is an airport close by). Also its about 25 minutes to get down to NYC and its pretty simple to get to once you hop on the interstate.</p>
