<p>Is anyone else going to the Gold Carpet Day thing on the 25th or 15th, or has gone to it before? I think those days specifically are only for the CSE honors program students, but idk if the other colleges have it on other days.
Does anyone know whether there is a dress code? On my schedule it has included a "freshman seminar and research experience", university honors program session and student panel", "closing remarks" and a "special luncheon for women in science and engineering", but I have no idea what research experience means, as well as how formal the event overall will be.

<p>When my son attended the dress was mixed. Most boys wore polo shirts and khaki pants. Some were in slacks and a dress shirt, some wore jeans and polos and some were in jeans and tees. </p>
<p>Hopefully the mom of a daughter will reply!</p>
