My school doesn't require us to read any books, however I am soooo bored. Do you guys have any ideas of some good books that I can read this summer. I am a rising sophmore if that helps with books I might like. Right now I am willing to read almost anything.

If you want something that is fun to read and somewhat challenging, I suggest Catch-22.

1984 absolutely pwns, all the way through.

East of Eden by John Steinbeck

Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Surely your Joking Mr. Feynman...forgot the author

If you want a quick read that's fun, interesting, and creepy, go for The Island of Dr. Moreau by HG Wells

The author is Feynman himself :P.

If you're really bored and up for a big challenge, Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon is one hell of a novel. I had to read it a few times to even begin appreciating Pynchon's genius.
