Good cello schools?

A while ago I asked about some good schools for cello in the Midwest, and I'd like to thank everyone for the great answers. At the moment I'm thinking about IU and CIM as my high end audition choises.
Recently I recieved a scholarship for a free professional recording to use for my auditions (very cool), but none of the schools I'm thinking about is far enough away to warrent sending a recorded audition. What are some good schools that are outside of the midwest that would be worth sending a recording to?

Thanks again.

The assistant orchestra director at my middle school was a great cellist, and he went to William Jewell...another school for you to consider!

If it's a CD, St Olaf required a pre-screening CD. You could use it for schools that require prescreening. (By the way, the cello teachers at St Olaf are related to my D's former violin teacher here in Atlanta.) St Olaf required a video (DVD) in lieu of the actual audition. Live audition is required for music majors; my D was only auditioning for money as a non-major, and was allowed to send the DVD instead.

In general, most of us here will encourage you to do a live audition whenever possible. Maybe you could use the recording for a scholarship competition or summer camp audition.
