<p>A friend of mine wants to pursue geography. Can anyone recommend colleges in the US that are good for this field? Location doesn't matter in the least...</p>
<p>(He's an international student, so preferably something that's not impossible to get into with finaid :D)</p>

<p>UNC-Chapel Hill has a good Geography program. Fairly difficult to get into UNC out-of-state though.</p>
<p>University of Oregon</p>
<p>Wisconsin was always considered one of the best.</p>
<p>If he is looking for liberal arts colleges, most don't have geography departments, but when I was looking for ones that do Macalester and Middlebury stood out to me.</p>
<p>Penn State has one of the best as well</p>
<p>Clark's undergraduate program in geography is consistently ranked as the best in the country.</p>
