Are there any good colleges with a good Art program that give a full ride to students who's parents win less than 50,000 a year?
I am interested in going to an undergrad school and studying Painting as well as Journalism.
But Visual Art being my main career target.
I am planning to transfer after gaining my B.A.'s to a top school. Maybe to Yale's School of Art.
Thanks!

nanachan,

Since you are specifically interested in Visual Arts, you should take your questions to the Visual Arts and Film Majors sub-forum in the College Majors Forum. You can reach it by clicking on “Discussion Home” in the upper-left of this screen and then scrolling down.

You wrote that you plan to transfer after completing your B.A. Do you mean that you want a Bachelor’s degree in a given subject area followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts? Or do you mean that you want to pursue a graduate degree such as a Master of Fine Arts?

Your written English is a bit shaky, which makes me wonder if you are an international student. If that is the case, you need to know that it is very difficult for international students to get full ride scholarships. You should think about places where you can study visual art in your home country.

Wishing you all the best.
