Good Colleges That Allow Substantial Credit from AP scores?

The title says it all. Where can the students in this thread with many APs benefit the most?

Uhh, I think the University of Minnesota gives credit for 3's on every exam.

All or almost all of the UCs.

For example, UCLA:
http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Prospect/APCreditLS.htm

http://www.admissions.unc.edu/academics/placement.htm

UNC is a little worse, but yeah.

Most state schools over a lot of AP credit - check out UMich and UT-Austin etc

Yeah, as i could get in-state at UNC, that was kinda the baseline I was using.
I could end up entering with 90+ credits but I'd be able to graduate in two years at the quickest because of major requirements. I suppose it'd be that way anywhere though.

University of California basically give you credit for everything

wow, i would have 52 unit credits from my APs....does UC have a mximum?

damn the college i'm looking at has a maxium of 30 credit hours... ill have around 90

yup- uc everything.

if you're thinking of using AP credit to trim 1 or more semesters from your studies, you also need to check a college's residency requirements, which are sometimes not as clearly advertised as the AP rules. Some colleges require you to attend 6, 7, even 8 semesters to get a degree.

Kansas State University is generous with AP credit and, if you score a 4 or 5 or certain AP exams, also assigns you a letter grade of "A" for the AP credit which is averaged into your K-State GPA: http://www.k-state.edu/admit/AdvancedPlacement.pdf

Marathon man...then we can just double major or get a dual major....

don't forget about University of Southern California!!!! They give you elective units for pretty much everything 3 or above (sorry I don't have the link). And if you get 4s or 5s on some tests, you place out of GEs, even language requirements, as long as you're not in Thematic Option or Freshman Science Honors (which I'm in :(), which unfortunately run along different tracks as regular classes.
