Good colleges that offer physical therapy? (non physical therapy students welcome)

Hi, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've been doing a lot of research for colleges but searching for a decent college that offers a doctorates in physical therapy just points me to lists that tell me little else. "Designer colleges" mean little to me. A good academics program, internships, a degree of freedom and helpful staff are what's most important to me, and so is a good location or friendly atmosphere. I want to be able to join clubs and meet people when I can. I don't expect any college to have all of these things, these are just some that would be nice. I would like to be able to get a D.P.T. there.

If it's relevant, I have maintained about a 3.7-3.8 GPA. I'll be taking the SATs in March so I don't have a score yet. Cost is an issue but I'm mainly concerned in finding schools that people can say they enjoyed going to, not how much they cost.

If anyone could tell me their college experiences in somewhere that offered a physical therapy program (even if your field of study wasn't that) that would be great. Please don't simply direct me to a bunch of links unless it includes reviews from real students and plenty of information. Thank you!

The APTA’s website is a good starting point … but it sounds like you have probably already been there. It has lots of information, but I don’t think they have reviews like you are looking for:

Thank you, but it’s not finding colleges that offer university… but knowing which ones are actually good! Sifting through lists arranged by name or state hasn’t been very fruitful.
