So after completely messing up my 1st year at Rutgers I ended up on academic dismissal so I attended my local community college. I will be finishing in fall on next year but I want to start looking into this now. Once I complete my associates what schools have a good computer science program in NJ? Returning to Rutgers is also a possibility if it counts as one of the schools, I didnt get permanently dismissed, I just need to take a summer session to go back.

Stevens Institute of Technology?

NJIT

Isnt Stevens expensive because its a private school?

Also how’s social life at NJIT? Im not the type of person that gets completely drunk out of my mind(I have never drank actually), but I dont want the school to be dead just in case I dont have work to do or something to study for.

What happened academically?

I tried to do everything on my own rather than look for help, managed to get by with C and D’s first semester and I just thought it was a rough start, went on probation and the second semester same thing happened.

I’d consider trying to get back into Rutgers. It could be hard to get into any other college unless you clean up that record.
