Good computer science school 3.1/2 gpa and 1000-1100 sat

Hello, I was wondering of any of you can help me find a good college in the northeast (im from new jersey) that has a good computer science department and accepts people with 3.1-3.2 gpa and 1000-1100 sat score. I have been looking at university of scranton, moravian and even university of delaware, as well as ramapo. Do you think i can get into these, and is there any i'm missing? Please help! I need a good computer science college!

rutgers NB?

Northeastern is great for computer science and has a co-op program so you'll get paid work experience. But I think you may be on the lower end of their GPA. The average GPA is a 3.5 and average SAT is a 1210. So NU could be considered a practical reach for you.

You may want to look into University of Pittsburgh, I got in 6 years ago with similar stats (slightly higher SAT)...but their standards have risen quite dramatically which would put it into the reach category I believe.

Rochester Institute of Technology

Umm, I don't think I have any chance at RIT.

You should be fine for the U of Scranton, Ramapo, Moravian. U of Delaware is just a bit of a reach, but worth a shot. You might also take a look at these schools: The College of New Jersey, Temple, Monmouth, Rider, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Southern Connecticut, Qunnipiac, Pace University, U of Massachusetts, Lowell, Stonehill (Mass), Widener (comp. engineering), and Worcester Poly tech. I would not rule out U of Pittsburgh or RIT either - just apply and see what happens. Some of the above are safe bets for you, some matches, some realistic reaches.

College of New Jersey is way too much of a reach. Average sat is over a 1300. Carolyn's other suggestions are all good to look at.
