good English 297/298 courses to recommend

Hi I'm looking for good English 297/298 courses to take this fall 2011. It's ok if it's hard (not TOO time consuming though), as long as it's a rewarding experience (I don't really want a boring repetitive class just to get an easy A; but easy A classes are fine too, as long as it feels like a waste of time.)

I have several choices but have no idea which one to choose:
298: Prof Lisa Makman, Petra Kutters, Korey Jackson, Jeremiah Chamberlin, X. Santamarina, and Caroline Miller (any recommendations or suggestions?)

297: Prof Gillan White (any other sections-it just says "staff"/professors recommended?); for Prof White's class, are the exams and essays/quizzes pretty hard?

Anyone knows who teachers English 297 section 2? it's class no. 18743 taught in MH 3330

also does anyone know if english 297/298 all have a midterm and a final (some say it does on the website but some don't mention)? How hard and time-consuming are they?

For poetry, are memorizations all required?

Are English 297/298 lectures or discussions (less than 20 people per class?) Attendance all required?

Thankyou very much.
