Hi,
I want to go to an ivy league (don't really care which one) and Im really stressed that I'm not good enough. I am in algebra 1 High honors, spanish 2 honors, and biology honors. Next hear I'm going into AP history, and the highest language arts (High Honors). However, next year Ill be taking geometry honors, geo physical (honors) and spanish 3 honors (hopefully skipping it though). I also have 79.5 hours of community service (hopefully more coming) and in one other club. I also did 3 sports so far this year. So, what can I do to improve my chances??? It would be a HUGE help if someone told me what I could do. Thanks

Oh, also I’m traveling to Costa Rica this summer

Are you a freshman right now?

yeah

You might want to take AP Biology in the place of one of your electives. It shouldn’t be too hard because you already took honors.

Whether a school is an Ivy League or not, I would be much more concerned about my personal opinion about on school, other than how high it’s ranked in Forbes Top Colleges, or whatnot. It’s great if someone wants a competitive atmosphere, but saying you don’t care what school so long as it’s an Ivy League lacks heart and consideration.

Costa Rica in the summer to do what?

to get college credit and community service

The college people will probably think you are just rich enough that your parents can fly you around the world to “volunteer” and they’ll probably just think it’s an excuse to go to Costa Rica. I say you should do more things at home. Such as get a job in the future. Then they won’t think you are spoiled.

well I’m also getting college credit in a university
