<p>There has been quite a few threads on the SGP subject. I am not questioning its fairness, I am just curious if and how they differentiate Vietnamese, or Cambodian from the ORM group of Chinese and Indian. I am not hoping Vietnamse to be categorized in the URM group. But not being lumped into the ORM would give our daughter a little better chance. Thanks for the insight and well wishes.</p>

<p>To me, stats are means to achieve our goals, but not the goal itself. I started this thread with a question specifically about the SAT2 score but I have never implied that top schools should accept kids solely based on highest stats. As I mentioned earlier, essay, recommendations and ecs are all equally important if not more. My D has been doing her fair share in the volunteer and community activities. With not much time left, we just want to improve her chance if possible.</p>
