good idea to take environemental engineering?

I've been hearing a lot about how intensize the math and physics are in engineering fields. I'm gonna be a fresman in college this fall and I have never taken calculus in HS (went from college algebra/trig to AP Stats senior year). Plus I only took regular physics and barely made it to a B. Will I be able to do well in compared to the other fresmans taking engineering, who probably took AP calc BC and AP physics in hs. thanks.

As long as you are interested in being involved with water and air pollution control, recycling, organic-waste disposal, hazardous/nuclear waste treatment/disposal and public health issues as well as environmental engineering & public health safety law.

If interested in the above then go for it!
You will be fine. A lot of freshmen haven’t taken calculus until college. I never took calculus or calculus based physics in high school but when I took them in college they were not hard. Both classes are logical and straightforward. Just study & work hard!

Chemistry was hard for me though since chemistry is boring and I do not like chemistry from a chemists point of view. The way it is taught is also unfortunate.

But I am sure chemistry from a physicists point of view would be interesting but it is different for everyone.

thanks! im definitely gonna give it a shot
