Hi there. I'm looking for program ideas for next summer, which will be the summer after sophomore year. They can't be all summer because I'm spending part of my summer doing volunteer work with my church in El Salvador, but anyway... I'm interested in international relations mainly, but general politics is good too. The obvious answer would be JSA, but I've heard that admissions officers don't look upon that very fondly.

My GPA is about a 3.3 weighted (ew), 3.9 unweighted (due to the fact that the high school level classes I took during middle school weren't honors), and I took the SATs in 7th grade and got 1930 (for programs that require SAT scores). I do gay straight alliance, history club, and drama club at my school, and I'm the founder of our school's students alliance for gender equality. I'm in the Humanities Magnet Program. So I don't know if my stats will affect anything, but yeah.

Thanks in advance for any and all recs!
