At this time of year, our school is asking us to consider our schedules for next year, so I was formulating a schedule in my head and this is what it will probably look like next year:
AP Calculus BC
AP Language Arts & Composition
AP Macroeconomics + Microeconomics
Human Anatomy Honors
Spanish 4 Honors
Graphic Design and Production
(AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics are one semester each)
Would this be considered a pretty rigorous schedule for next year? I was considering doing an AP science course, but honesty, I am not very interested in that subject.
Your schedule looks pretty balanced and rigorous. If you are not interested in science you don’t have to take an AP Science. As long as you’ve taken one year each of bio, chem, and physics you’re good.
What are your other science options? I doubt you’ve already had basic Chemistry, Physics and Biology. I think you should switch out the anatomy course for one of these basic sciences, assuming there is an honors version. Otherwise all looks good.
I already took the honors versions of Biology and Chemistry, so all I would have to do is Physics, but I can fit that in later
I think that looks good, just make sure you take Physics senior year. Also, what were your social studies classes for freshman and sophomore year? It is important to take a couple years of history.
Looks excellent. I might be careful about taking both Econ for history and Anatomy for science, since those can look like more elective-y classes, but if that’s a fairly typical thing at your school, I would keep it.
I did AP Comparative Government as a freshmen and I am taking AP World History now
