I'm currently a junior right now and I'm starting to make my college lists

Right now I have all of my reaches and safeties straightened out and cleared, but I'm having trouble deciding what is a good match for me and what to look for in a match school..

To give some info about myself, I have a 2000 SAT after taking it once and a 3.7ish GPA with pretty standard high-level ec's (many leadership positions, multiple AP's, top 10%ish, nominated into some great summer programs, and i'm even a recruitable athlete).. If anybody has some good suggestions as to where I can be looking for match schools it would be greatly appreciated!

Oh yeah and I'd like to stick to the northeast and money isn't a problem too just for some more insight. thank you!

Note that many schools’ selectivity varies based on division or major applied to, so consider your reach/match/safety assessments in that context.

I want to be an Econ Major but I also may want to dip into anything from computer science to philosophy… but econ will most likely always be a definite with other options as a double major or minor.

Thank you jshain i will look into those schools! UConn is actually one of my safeties (a relative works in admissions and I’m a legacy with a lot of donating alumni ancestors) but bucknell sounds very interesting and I was also considering BC as one of my reaches

I’m not sure I’d consider UConn a safety. You just never know and I wouldn’t consider it a slam dunk given your good but not great stats. Being an athletic recruit could open up some slightly more selective schools to you. Depends on where you would rank in your events compared to others applying to any given school. Maybe look at Fordham as a good match school as well.
