Good matches for me?

I’m a senior and most of the schools I’ve applied to are safeties. Could anyone offer some suggestions based on my stats?
Hi everyone! I was just wondering if you could please chance me for my list of schools. My stats are…

Looking for a school strong in the sciences. Preferably in a city or suburban and in the Northeast. I’m willing to go as south as DC. Maybe Midwest too (thinkinf about notre dame and umich but those are reaches).

Thanks!

How much will your family pay?

Sorry forgot to include that. It does make a difference. I am not sure of our income bracket but it is around 150,000 I believe but my parents really cannot pay more than 30,000. I realize thag limits my choices very much. I am looking for schools where I can get merit aid (hence the reason I’ve applied to do many safeties). We probably won’t get Financial aid but i am open to applying to more competitive schools where there might not be a guarantee for merit aid (example notre dame)

I don’t think that will happen (merit aid from the likes of ND) with a 3.95 WGPA and a 32 ACT. Fordham perhaps? Clark? Other posters know NE schools much better than I. WPI could work. Denison is possible for a small school (outside of Columbus OH)

Holy Cross-very good science programs with nice campus-1 hour from Boston.

Figure out how much need-based aid you’re likely to receive, and how much merit aid you require. You could run the Net Price Calculator for Clark Uni. Don’t guess regarding your parents’ income/assets, so get their help running the NPC. This info will give you a better starting point for understanding how much merit aid you’re likely to require at a match-type school.

What schools are on your current list?

What are your financial safety schools (these are schools that you know FOR SURE that you have all costs covered).

Have you ASKED your parents if they’ll pay $30k per year? or are you estimating? You need to get a firm answer from them.

A number of those schools will accept you…however, you need to make sure that you have all costs covered for your safeties.

Can’t really help you until you determine what features/qualities of college appeal to you, or what definitely turns you off. And then there’s your budget, of course.
