Hey guys so this'll just be a list for ppl to list resources. These include cool (appropriate) sites, programs, competitions, and scholarships. Please list the name, age group/grade, a breif discription, site listing, and application period,site,etc.,. Middle school is included so try to list some activities for cc's younger users such as myself.
I reccomend John Hopkins University Summer For Talented Youth. It's all school ages. Even if your a 18-year old senior, you're eligible! CTY Is like hevean for geeks & nerds. It offers online distance cousres, sumer programs, and much more. It's all academic. This program is very pristigious for those of you who care about that stuff. You get in by their Talent Search, which is basicly just filing out a basic form and taking one of the four eligibiltiy tests. They include the SAT,ACT, SCAT, And STB. The last two r basicly owned by CTY. lol. Sites very, but many reccomned The JHU And Lancaster,PA Locations. I'm gunna take the Talent Search this fall. Website:cty.jhu.edu Dates very, but the cut-off date for the majority of their programs is febuary/march each year. My description is horrible, but this program is just AWESOME If ur a gifted or talented student who wants to study academics more.
Programs are allowed to come up more than once. Have fun! :D
