Good minor to go with my major?

Hello all! I'm new to this thread and was wondering what some of you thought about my future endeavors or if you have any thoughts or suggestions.
I am currently enrolled in a community college and after this semester I will have an associates of science and plan on transferring to a university. I was going to go for a chemistry major but I have been doing research and many people say the jobs are bad and pay is bad. I was wondering if there is another science related major/minor that would look better to employers and what you guys thought. I was thinking chem major with a minor in biology of some kind or even in computer sciences. There are so many different routes to take but in the end I want something that I can have good job prospects.
Thank you all!

Computer science tends to do better than chemistry or biology, unless the computer industry is in a down cycle.

Is chemical engineering of interest to you?

Most pure science degrees have bad salary prospects. Engineering would be a better option for those who enjoy science but want practical career application. Computer Science is also a good ROI major and typically pays in the realms of the engineering degrees.
