Hmm, so I'm new here but I've been reading these forums for a while, and I decided to post something specific.

I'm looking for any U.S. residential summer pre-college program that is two to six weeks, and not overly expensive (definitely no more than US$7,000, I have better things to do with that much money). The main topics I do NOT want to study are the most common ones people post about: I don't want a science research program, math-only camp, or internship; I'm more interested in engineering, law, journalism, and architecture. I also don't want a program that's just taking standard undergrad classes in the summer. For standardized test scores, I think I'm good enough to get into anything slightly less difficult than RSI (although I never bothered to apply there because it's all sciency).

I'm looking at UMich's ArcStart program (ArcStart - michigan architecture), UPenn's SAAST (Summer Academy in Applied Science and Technology (SAAST) | Penn Engineering), Clark Scholars (TTU Clark Scholars Program), as well as Georgetown, Duke, Brown. Does anyone have good experiences with these programs?

I don't really want to end up bumping this thread three or four times, so I'd really appreciate a reply :) Thanks!
