Good phone for a college freshman?

what would you recommend? I'm looking for one with an excellent camera so I won't have to buy a separate one when i go to college

An iphone maybe? Picture quality on any phone pales in comparison to that of a dedicated digital camera, even a cheap one. I'd suggest you buy a cheap phone and then a decent digital camera if pictures are important to you...

^ Agree with Moodrets

If you can only get one, get a G1. I think they have around 3 megapixels and it is an awesome phone. Wish they didn't make them exclusive for T-Mobile

nokia smartphone

Iphone

10 char

Blackberry.

I am never departed from mine. They're seriously addicting. :x

I want an Iphone....but my parents have a family plan on verizon....so ya
dang

monoclide do you have AT&T? how much does your data plan cost a month and what do u get?

I-phone for sure.

if you by any chance go to tmobile, the nokia 5610 has a great camera (3.2 mp) and has great music capabilities.

t-mobile SUCKS don't get it!!! And their phones suck as well.

blackberry storm ..awesome..iPhone is good too but sometimes the internet just freezes on you.

You need to find out what the service is like where you are going to school. You are doing this backwards! Definitely don't decide on anything, if your plan is up soon, until you find out coverage, etc.
