good places to eat around cornell?

it’s been almost 10 years since they had a big turn around…i.e. all white meat in their nuggets (supposedly) and all 100% beef

lol i like mcds as much as the next person…its just not worth the hassle of trying to get it when there are many other good places around. You will see what i mean.
Green cafe is really nice. They have all kinds of food including chinese, american, pasta, fruit… and then they have like different stations where u can get coffee, desert, smoothies. They do charge by the pound which can get expensive, but the also have pre packaged food. Its one of the good places to eat when ur wandering around collegetown

“they’re decent but you cant beat the price at mcdonalds or taco bell…i believe in free markets…”

When externalities are taken into account-- namely the environmental impact, the strain on smaller, local businesses, and the toll on one’s health-- one should question how much of a bargain fast food really is. Regardless, the free market is hardly a justification for unethical business models. It is perfectly consistent to support the free market and be against bullies such as Wal-Mart and McDonald’s. I’ve met a handful of libertarians who fit this description.

you can easily order off of campusfood.com for many places - very convenient.

some good places are sinbad’s (middle eastern), sangam (indian), cafe pacific (interesting mixture of japanese and desserts), boatyard grill (depending on when you go, you may have to wait a long time, but great food), madeline’s (expensive fancy restaurant in the common’s), that burrito place (mexican) - you really can’t go wrong, there are tons and tons of good restaurants, and as a freshman living on north campus, you also have access to the two best dining halls

the mexican selection sucks here…

if anyone is interested in opening up a decent mexican rest plz feel free to IM me :)

i have ideas ;)

lets not forget insomnia cookies…;
