Good pre-med colleges that offer good financial aid for low income

I live in PA and would be willing to go anywhere within the surrounding states. My SAT is 1940 (1270/1600) and I have a GPA of 3.8. I want a school that I will be able to have fun, preferably in a more urban setting, and that I would not be too much of a small fish. Does anyone know any schools that come to mind that offer a good financial aid package for >30,000$?

???

can you clarify? why the >30k? sounds like you need full aid no matter what the cost.

sadly, you live in PA…costly and bad aid at the publics.

retest and look at schools like depauw, (not depaul), and Loyola maryland…they give great aid and dont demand top scores.

I meant >30,000 like good financial aid or meeting full need for kids who’s parents make less than 30 grand sorry for the confusion @mom2collegekids‌

With your stats, I bet you will find the more reliable source of FA - Merit awards.

In California, for the UC campuses, any family making under $80,000 per year qualifies for fully paid tuition under the cal grant A award. This is however for in-state applicants. In general, out of state financial aid is usually scholarship based and not government based.

Oh, your family makes <$30k (less than $30k).

UCs wont work for this student since they wont cover the OOS portion ($23k) per year.

You need to retest and get the best scores to have the best chances at the schools that meet need.
