Good Pre Med Schools??? I NEED A LIST!

<p>Hey,
I am applying to college this year, and I want to pursue a career in medicine. I will be applying to Harvard and Stanford, because I have been told their pre medical programs are great. I am having a hard time finding other good competitive schools to apply to. I am also having a hard time finding safety and target schools to apply to. Harvard and Stanford are definitely reach schools for me. Does anyone out there know about more reach, target, and safety schools that I can add to my list?</p>

<p>Go to a selective ug school (or not but it helps), get a very, very good gpa and a good mcat score. You will get in somewhere.</p>

<p>My understanding is that there isn’t the ranking thing going on w/ med schools.</p>

<p>There aren’t any “pre-med schools.” Just find a school with excellent science programs, and decide whether you’d want a big school (possibly more research equipment, etc) or a small school (more one on one time with professors and more opportunities in research possibly). also ask schools about pre med advising programs. but there is no best pre med school, because pre med isn’t a major. …</p>
