I'm sure there's a thread of this somewhere; I just couldn't find one so I decided to start my own.

I'm an international student and I will be having a telephone interview next week with Syracuse and was wondering what sort of questions I should ask about the school? I know financial aid questions are supposedly good but I'm not applying for aid.

Go to their web site and read the school news page, especially any reports about recent alumni. Look for anything that catches your interest, like students who majored in the areas you’re interested in, students in unusual jobs, or odd double-major combinations. Asking a specific question can open the door to a wider discussion. There will also be news about current students, probably related to study abroad programs. Beginning a discussion with a question that shows you’ve done some homework also makes you look good.
