I got some questions
So I got into UCR as a biochemistry major as a future undergraduate freshman, but I’m a bit confused on how to eventually become a pharmacist in the future.
It’s recommended for many undergraduate science students to partake in some sort of research program or experience in the pharmaceutical field (for me), but I’m confused on whether I could join certain programs like the Medical Scholars Program, etc., where it seems “med-school-friendly”. Should I still look to joining these programs, if not, which ones should I look for?
Also debating on whether to transfer to UCI to study Pharmaceutical Sciences… I would really like some insight and figure things out.
Forgot to mention in the PM, pharmacy school is expensive, so you need to be aware that the only funding available is a loan. If not, you have to rely on the Bank of Mom and Dad.
