Hey guys, I'm from bc,canada
I was wondering what you guys think my safety universities should be ( the ones that can guarantee admission)
My grade 11 consists of these courses and grades:
honours bio 11: 90%
physics 11: 92%
chem 11: 90%
Math 12: 86% (slacked off)
eng 11: 84%
french 11: 84%
programming: 95%
foods 11: 72%

and senior year is going to be these courses and predicted mark:
AP chem 12: 95%
AP physics 12: 96%
bio 12: 94%
eng 12: 87%
economics 12: 95%
calculus 12: 94%
law 12: 94%
accounting 11: 98%

Do you think i should retake math 12 or leave as is cause i am applying to both canadian and american universities.

Also which courses do they use for admission processes..

LASTLY, which universities do you think can be my safeties and matches with reputable engineering programs?

With good ECs/essays you will get into every single one of the above schools, maybe even some with good scholarships.

I don’t think you should retake precal 12 because you have a good calculus 12 mark, but if you want to be sure call the admissions office at any university.

Usually the schools use these prerequisites for the admission process:
Pre-Calculus 12
Calculus 12
Physics 12
Chemistry 12
And one of your other courses with the top grades (for you most likely Bio 12)

Note that there is a disparity in required marks depending on the type of engineering and that the disparity is different between the schools. You should research the expected grades for the type of engineering you are interested in for each school
