The 8 released collegeboard SAT’s are obviously the best, but I’ve used them all. Are there any books with good READING sections for me to practice?
I feel like Barons is hard af, but Princeton is like Junk.

There are not that many sources of practice tests available. Just go through them even they are not perfect. Barrons and PR are actually pretty good in general. My Ds went through all the materials available including Barrons, PR, Kaplan, MGH, official, etc. Some are better than others. Using different sources would give you a wider range of question styles.
Erica L. Meltzer’s Critical Reader is great to study with.
You should use the Barron’s hard af. I have heard good things about the Meltzer guide too, but I am not sure it’s updated yet. I think the Kaplan guide is decent. Many students and tutors feel that the new SAT is hard af, and you are better off being more challenged. You don’t want to use easy af study guides because they will not adequately prepare you.

Btw, if you use the comparative expression that something is as ____ as something, you need to use the word “as” twice. So it’s actually as hard as _, and as dodgy as _. I have seen this comparative phrase used as a question on the SAT, so it is worth knowing.
Reading has multiple components that develop over a lifetime. You need to figure out where your reading problems rests and focus on that area. You have practiced the SAT reading tests which should help you learn on your difficulties reading the SAT. Do you have text books with questions and vocabulary embedded. How well can you quickly read the textbook and then answer the questions writhing and around the end of the chapter. Do you know the information or can quickly find the answer in the book or use the vocabulary in a different context. How good are you at locating specific information within a longish text. Summarize what you read so you get the gist of the passage a and where answers are located. Reading is similar to riding a bike in that practice teaches you how to vary speed, adjust to different terrain, keep balance , watch where you are going and all at the same time. Read.
