<p>My D is going to NYU Steinhardt in violin performance and is thinking of doing a double major in journalism in NYU CAS. Her advisor indicated that this would be fine to do, i.e., double major across schools. Journalism at NYU requires a double major with another department, in that its major requirements are not that extensive. So, it sounds like a good candidate for a double major with performance or musical theater. NYU Journalism also has a London program where you can take a course in theater criticism.</p>
