Check out some schools in Canada, it is WAY cheaper then in the states, most International students can come to Canadian Universities and get their year completed for under $20,000!

Ok well, criteria A and B tend to clash…you’d often have to choose between one or the other…
The need-blind schools (HYP, MIT, Dartmouth, williams, amherst etc.) and other top schools offering reasonable fin-aid to internationals tend to have the lowest acceptance rate for internationals…
If the applicant is particularly strong, you might want to look at schools that offer merit scholarships like, though they are still very tough for internationals to get…

A lot of less competitive schools are very good, though they may not have the fin-aid capacity for all that many internationals, so I guess it’d depend on what sort of aid you needed (i.e. if you needed a full-ride…that would be very tough)

The previous post brings up a possibility, but if finances are particularly an issue, why not just study domestically for much cheaper, and then apply to the US for postgrad (with scholarships hopefully)?

Sorry to disappoint you, but there are no such schools. You have to choose one of the options.

btw how much are international students applying for FA usually able to pay? I guess it is not much, for example at Trinity college average FA is about 45 000 USD.
Would it help me at least a little bit if I am able to pay 12 000, maybe even slightly more?
