I’m applying soon and was curious where sociology is a strong major in the U.S. Preferably in my reach with a 3.3 gpa and California if so
Wow. Not very many high school seniors indicate an interest in sociology. Most discover in once they are in college and take an intro course. What are you interested in studying, because “sociology” is a very broad topic ranging from the completely theoretical to the very practical.
UC Berkeley is the number one sociology department according to US News.
^^ Many high schoolers also think sociology is synonymous with social work.
Sorry! Forgot to mention I’m a transfer major from a California community college
I also want to emphasize in law and society
