good schools in europe?

Hi, my name is igor and i'm from serbia. I would like to go to harvard or some oden university with the similar rank. But my question is, is there some university in europe, which has quality like harvard or similar, but under two conditions:1)it's in english
2)it' not in britain

You better stay in Serbia.

Simply put - no.

International University Bremen - www.iu-bremen.de

It is relatively new but is getting a good reputation. Their students go to places like Yale, LSE, Oxford, Cambridge and stuff.. But the thing is, you have to complete your major in 3 years and you have to manage 120 credits in 3 years.. so that means you take 7 courses per semester....... think about it!

There are american unis in Italy, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Greece and maybe many more European countries but they are not as good as the ones in the US

I think IUB could be considered as Tier 1 University! It is associated with Rice University Texas and offers study abroad at Rice and Lafayette College..

yeah..IUB is really good..
hey IUBian...ru a current student at iub or a grad?

well... as you want to study business, BK, Megatrend... there are many similar elite new expencive universities you could apply to. I'm sure they'll give you all the scholarships you want. It's just...it isn't in English, but I guess the language won't be a problem for you there :)

Trinity College Dublin?

what are deadlines for IUB, and are they prepare to give full scholarship?

Come to Australia ... :)

igor87, you might want to click on the link IUBian gave you for those questions.

I hear Webster University (with various branches in Vienna, Netherlands, Switzerland) is pretty good. Not sure about the aid they give, though.

Good luck with your search, but if you're cancelling out the UK and non-English speakin' universities in Europe...the list gets pretty short.

No, it's not. Trust me, I studied at Webster Thailand for 1 semester and had enough. Not generous with fin. aid either, because they're non-profit.

Ah, sorry about that. My pals in Webster Vienna and Webster Geneva are pretty happy there, but then again, they're kinda...the rich snobby type or the UN-pays-for-tuition type...

yay trinity college dublin!! www.tcd.ie

If you imagine that the generous universities are for-profit, you're up for a big surprise!

I am a undergrad student.

Well! It can be possible to get full scholarship but it is very very tough. They are need blind. But then they give you some loan. And financial aid doesn't cover book and personal expenses. It only covers Tuition fees, Room and Board!
