hey do you think I can get a 4 or a 5 w/only REA?

otherwise I'll get the Annotated Mona Lisa: A Crash Course in Art History from Prehistoric to Post-Modern to supplement it.

thanks!

ALSO!

the only material you really need for Human Geo is Barron's right?? thanks

That's not exactly a question we can answer. We have no idea what your background in the arts is like so we have no way to gauge your ability to memorize paintings.

Generally the prep book for AP Art History that most kids on CC like is the Annotated Mona Lisa.

And again, most people prefer Barron's Human Geo.

I have no real bg in the arts. I was planning on using solely REA's Art History, and Barron's Human Geo to study for the AP exams.

There is also another book u might want to check out, Barons AP Art History.

Thanks

I'm not taking either Human Geo or Art History classes at my school, so do you think just REA Art History and Barron's Human Geo books will suffice?

Or should I buy other books (such as Mona Lisa's Annotated)?

Hey, jyi90

I took AP Art History this year, and, thanks to my awesome teacher, I got a 5.

This may be slightly biased, (being that my teacher wrote it) but, I really think Barron's Art History is the way to go.

He was REALLY REALLY knowledgeable. Everything that we saw on the test, we had been taught. EVERYTHING. It just came down to whether or not we remembered it.

Some of the kids in my class this year tried out REA, but they found it be of little help. I mean, an art history book thats (if I hear correctly) almost completely without pictures? Is that even logical?

But, whichever you choose, best of luck! You'll find it to be a fascinating subject!
