Good sites/resources for homeschooling 4 yr old?

Hi,
My 4 year old just left a very academic preschool (too intense) to stay home for a more relaxed pace.

I'd like to give her some learning basics--I could do it on my own, but wondered if anyone knew of some good websites or other material?

Thanks a lot!

At that age, we did lots of hands-on art and craft activities, nature walks, reading aloud, field trips, etc., nothing formal at all. But there are lots of resources out there now, so I can't say just what is available. If you go to www.vegsource.com (Is it OK to post this?) and scroll way down on their list of boards--it's not even on the first list, but further down--you will find Homeschooling Boards. There are a number of them, pertaining to different ages, styles of homeschooling, subjects, etc. That would be a good place to ask questions. Since my boys are grown now, my memories of age 4 are a bit fuzzy. :-)

there are a bunch of good websites for kindergartens. there's edhelper (or was it edu helper?), thousands of games, etc. you can print out lots of things and color, cut, paste, and more. i wish i was 4... i would have so much fun

Thank you Susantm and wantashcolarship! I was thinking what we'd mainly do was hands-on, seasonal-related activities (nature hikes, studying leaves, etc.) but thought I should at least check out more.

Appreciate the thoughts!
