I got a call from Mountain View, CA yesterday at about 3PST but I missed it since I was in a tennis match. I tried calling back but they didn’t pick up. I checked with my friend (he actually picked up the phone) who got in CSSI and the number who called us was identical.
I’m currently not so subtly freaking out. But I’m really, really hoping that this got through (and that they would call me again).
@Nobody426 did you and your friend apply for generation google or just cssi? And congrats!!! I’m sure they’ll call you back. 
@iloveescargot Update! At about 2pm EST this afternoon I received an email that confirmed me as a GG recipient and a CSSI participant for this summer. My friend who actually picked up the phone didn’t get an email so I guess they gave up trying to call me haha. The two of us applied for and received both.
From a part of the email, (I’m sure you guys are interested in this–) they said, “You will receive more information on CSSI by early May once we have selected the rest of the CSSI class.” So, there you go! I wish you all the best of luck and hope to see some of you this summer!

Congrats on getting the scholarship!! I was wondering if you are a US applicant or a Canadian applicant. I am a Canadian applicant, and I know from past years that Google accepts a limited amount of Canadian students to CSSI.
Does anyone know when they will notify applicants who didn’t get the scholarship of the fact? Are they still calling or is it all done?

Where did you guys input the information for your phone numbers? I don’t recall there being such a field in the application. Although I guess my number is on my resume.
I’m also curious about the amount of Canadians that get in. With the way that the locations are set up this year and how you have to disclose your distance from them, it seems like all of Canada and a good portion of America are vying for the 30 Seattle spots.
I know in 2012 (?) they only let one Canadian in.
Is it possible for some of us who has got the acceptance to share the phone numbers they got the call from. I have been getting some random calls over the past few days. I just want to make sure its not from Google.
If we don’t get a call within like the next week or so does that mean we didn’t get it? I only applied for CSSI. Have the people that have been getting calls applied for the scholarship as well?
Update: I got an email from a Google scholarship director today. She said that the selections for Generation Google and CSSI were complete, and I was not selected for them, but I was a finalist for the scholarship, so I received a $1,000 award from Google.
@lethallydia do you know if that means they sent out all the acceptance notifications for just CSSI already? Congrats on the scholarship though, that’s awesome!
@iloveescargot I believe they will notify CSSI only early May. So probably the first week of May you should be expecting something
I applied for both but haven’t heard anything yet…so nervous!

@Screennname I think it just means that they have made decisions. Hopefully you hear something soon!
