<p>A couple of weeks earlier when she was dating that guy, she seemed to think highly of Georgetown.</p>

<p>Hahah. I do wonder how many high schoolers are influenced by the academic aspirations of their favorite TV characters. </p>
<p>When I was younger, I did want to apply to Oxford solely because Michael Palin had gone there... so. :|</p>
<p>for a second i thought you were talking about one of sarah palin's children and i was extremely surprised to find that one of them went to oxford--and then i googled michael palin lol</p>
<p>I read the GG book where Blair doesn't get accepted to any college or something. Vassar was mentioned along with all the other prestigious schools, so I looked it up and for a while it was my first choice (after doing lots of research, NOT just because of Blair!). IO visited and hated it, so now it's off my list.</p>
<p>Knowing the show its possible she might not, but at the end I'm pretty sure her she'll get her way, she always does.</p>
<p>In my son's school, lots of people are looking at the University of Idaho because of Sarah Palin.</p>
<p>Pretty sure Blair isn't going to go to Idaho.
Yale had a year with a lower admissions rate than Harvard. That was when the Gilmore girl ended up at Yale, after a couple of years of talking about Harvard.
Coincidence? Maybe.</p>
