<p>In 8th grade only 2 classes counted to HS, French& Algebra. I got a C+! I have all As on my final report card this year except a B in Band. I want to go to Ivy Leagues, and these grades are hurting me! What should I do? Do they care about 8th grade credits? I asked my counselor to retake Algebra over summer but she said it'd be a waste of my time because both grades still show up. If I get a high GPA (by getting As in honors& APs) and all As throughout the rest of HS (along w/ ECs) will the ivys care about a C+ and a B?</p>

<p>But, imo, if you have all As, that one C+ isn’t going to affect that much. over 4 years, that 8th grade C+ won’t be bad for you.</p>
