Got a D in a summer course, won't be able to retake until spring semester. Very bad?

It's calculus 3, if you're curious. There's virtually no way to make it into the class for fall as I already have a full schedule and the waiting lists are at least 13 in length. Prospective 2012 transfer.

Would you consider an online class because there are many seats still open for an calc 3 online course?

That’s interesting. Do you have experience taking online courses from colleges far away, screename1? My primary concern would be the cost of this, as I would at least be paying for another book, if not for the units as well (it may take some time to update my financial aid information). I suppose I can look at the online course and take it into consideration.

Taft college math 2130 (calc 3).

Jessica Kuang for Calc 3 online @ Coastline CC ftw
or try Coro Coso college, I think they are the second CCC that offers an online version of Calc 3.
Book is viewable online, the only two things that will cost you is the access code AND a little of your own knowledge of the subject lol. Sometimes the online class can’t help you learn as effective as a traditional one, but it is still helpful, enjoyable, easy and a great experience :D

The Coastline CC class uses the registration code that I already have with the book purchased for the class I failed. I’ll check the other ones just in case. Sparkyboy, since you mentioned Jessica Kuang, do you have personal experience with her or do you know of anyone who’s taken her class before? I can’t seem to find reviews for her on ratemyprofessors.

Thanks for the contributions thus far, guys, I’m very grateful! :)

I heard she’s super easy from someone on this board…
One of my friends takes Calc2 there (different prof) and says it’s really easy too.
